ABSTRACT 
Weight physical of beef cattle obtainable by measuring the chest circumference and beef cattle body length, and has linear relationship. Information technology area and computing method can be applicated to assist gives alternative of solution to the problems, by using image processing to know measurement physical of beef cattle body that is visible (chest wide, and body length).
Beeef cattle image input (original image) in RGB format is filtered with median filter, then be segmentated with segmentation process by using spectral segmentation method. Segmentation process in this image processing is a part real important. Image result of this segmentation continued with post process to eliminate detection of edge which is not necessarily. Segmentation result image which has been done this filtering identified to get physical measure ( body length and chest wide).
This identification process is an automatic vision system. Based on result of identification, hereinafter is done beef cattle weight computing process. Core in this article present technique to obtain body length and chest wide in set of length.
