ABSTRACT
Some of the landfill area of waste (TPA Sampah) in Indonesia have had no buffer zone, so waste amass on certain area. This research carried out about area calculation, applied buffer zone to locate dump truck queue, number of dropping location, and number of Dump Truck that can be placed on buffer zone, so dump trucks do not take over the traffic. The result of simulation obtained that for the landfill area of waste 15 hectares with capacity 500 tons/day and single queue system can relocate 150 Dump Trucks in buffer zone. Meanwhile for the landfill area of waste 15 hectares with capacity 1,000 tons/day and double queue system can relocate 250 Dump Trucks in buffer zone. Using buffer zone as Dump Truck queue location can overcome traffic congestion and social problem around landfill area. The aim of this proposed paper can help the decision makers with building the better construction for the landfill area of waste
